HUIS LUIGI --is the first point of entry for any child from the community to the greater St. Luigi Scrosoppi Sorgsentrum, with access to playing fields, gardens, jungle gyms,  and some peace and quiet.  It is the ‘home’ of the children, where meals are served, love is engendered and where children can come and rest their weary bodies and mend their broken hearts in a place of warmth and care.

Note: Huis Luigi started as an aftercare facility to create a space where the children could be fed, play, be supported and helped and through this project we were able to identify the needs of children and indirectly the needs of their families and the community. Through this programme, other programmes have grown and it is with the knowledge and experience we now embark on the House Newman and House Philip and a variety of programmes which will be offered through our Centre for children, youth and their families.  Thanks to this initiatives numerous children have for these last 7 years literally been kept off the streets - approximately 90 - 200 children aged 3 to 18 years have come to the Centre in the afternoons and during school holidays.

HUIS BETANIE is a nutritional crèche which strives to provide children a safe and caring learning environment by ensuring them healthy and balanced meals and Improving the general level of education and nutrition of the children in our townships.  We can accommodate 40 children between the ages of newborn to 5 years and A child can frequent the crèche for a maximum period of 3 years.

HUIS NASARET is a ‘Place of Safety in a residential building’.

In collaboration with the regional Social Services, Huis Nasaret responds to the needs of children of problematic families and those who have to be temporarily separated from their nuclear families through the intervention of the regional Social Services or the Children’s Court.  Here they are temporarily accommodated while their immediate needs are catered for whilst long term solutions for the children are sought.

HUIS FILIP Together with our volunteers, the youth actively
participated in the cleaning and renovating of their new
building. After many months of hard work under the
management of father Wim Sabo, we could finally see the
fruits of our hard work. The results were unbelievable!

Today, Huis Filip is fully equipped with a functional kitchen, a
music/ homework room and a general living area. Within the walls of the living
area one will find a large dining table (for the youth to eat as a family), a small lounge with a fire place, a pool table, a dartboard and a foosball table. None of this would have been possible without Devine Providence and the many donations we received from our international family.
